Great post! I can always use more inspiration to follow God more fully, more deeply and more prayerfully! I've been getting too wrapped up in making a living lately and forgetting who gave me my "living!"

Praise the Lord! Hope to see you in Philly when you are here!

Sarah,
You've been integral in many areas of my life. It is such a gift in friendship and in working together to have the clarity and insight to share meaningful moments.
Best,

Martina,
The cross country trip the last ten days has simply drilled it into my head...God's ways are not our ways...and the faster I embrace that reality the faster His realities of abundance, prosperity, peace, and joy emerge more fully in my life....and it was good before! Obedience isn't easy, but its a path worth fighting for!
hugs

Excellent point that we frequently overlook, Sweetie.

God is God, and we are not.

And, no matter how much control we think we have over things, our control has a very limited scope. It is the nature of our culture, and what we have come to call societal norms. We push and shove and push some more, until we are exhausted.

We overlook the true source of our joy and peace by not plugging in.

Gail you add WISDOM every time you speak, write, or lead by example. I cannot share how you are a treasure...a God gem in my life and heart...and how I cannot wait to hug your neck!
hugs!

What can I add, Sweetie? You've said it all! Sounds like you've learned a lot about self during these recent journeys. Think it was the travel? I know you are used to being around strangers. But from what you've written, it sounds like it was the "more" that people you've never met were requesting that struck you. And that "more" being PEACE.

Of course, I'm saying this about myself! I can relate, bit tim. Recently, I've discovered I had TONS of repressed anger. It was frightening to make this discovery...yet exhilarating. A change in health habits released the anger. It's been a bumpy ride the last 6 weeks trying to process. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

What can I add? I guess I DID have something to add after all!!!

I just love your list. What a great list to prompt my own thoughts. Admittedly, I'd not stopped to think about the things I'd learned this year! Not good if I'm of the mind to actually learn something out of this life and move up and onward! Wonderful words to wrap up the year.
